For those taking on the challenge of the iconic Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon, you will start your 42.195km from the Formula 1 Pit Building, headed towards Republic Avenue.
Along the way, you will pass the Golden Mile Plaza after 2km, before turning back into Nicoll Highway towards Suntec City and Esplanade.
Run past the 5km runners, continue onto Esplanade Drive towards Collyer Quay, and pass the famous Fullerton Hotel and Merlion Park! Over the next almost 5km, you will run along Cecil Street, Anson Road and onto Keppel Road before heading up towards the ramp at West Coast Highway, with a u-turn near Seah Im Carpark, which provides an overhead view of the Singapore Cable Car.
You will then head back along the same path, and at the 14km mark, turn right onto Marina Boulevard. From the front of Marina Bay Financial Centre, you will split from those taking on the half marathon, and work your way along Marina Gardens Drive before crossing the bridge at Marina Barrage onto Marina East Drive.
You will be running in the same area for the next 12km or so before heading along Gardens By the Bay East Waterfront and then onto the bridge at Marina Barrage. Cut through the waterfront and the centre of Gardens by the Bay, leading towards Marina Boulevard again, and head up towards the Benjamin Sheares Bridge, before exiting the bridge into Republic Avenue again, hitting the final 2km stretch along the Nicoll Highway.
From there, the finish line is in sight! Make a turn near Kallang Wave Mall and then head to the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon finish line at the National Stadium.

This calculator will determine your maximum heart rate (MHR) and calculate your exercise target heart rate (THR) zones in beats per minute (bpm). Target heart rate (THR) zones can be calculated from your age, age and measured resting heart rate (RHR) or, measured maximum heart rate (MHR) and measured resting heart rate (RHR). These calculations are for adults older than 19 years old.
